Student Field Trip to Clark Metal Products
- July 10, 2018
Last month, Clark had the opportunity to showcase our company to the freshman class from Homer Center S.D. in Homer City, PA. The Grade 9 field trips were made possible thru a Career Aware Grant provided by the Tri-County Business Education Partnership Grant. The tour focus was to expose students to the many career opportunities available in custom sheet metal fabrication. Tour guides Ron Traister and Tony Strini led the students thru our production floor. They explained what it takes to fabricate a custom part and the personnel and skill requirements we look for in hiring to make that happen. Many thanks to Deanne Magolis and Vicki Olinger for obtaining the grant money to provide such a valuable educational experience. A few photos from the day as well as student comments of their experience.

"The workers were determined to show us how the machines work and to get their jobs done. This trait will inspire me to keep following my dreams and achieve my goals as I move forward"
"So many workers portray communication skills because you use these in all kinds of fields".
"I saw respect shown among all the employees. Everyone shook your hand..."
